The business unit “Wireless and Transponder Systems“ offers its cooperation partners diverse possibilities of collaboration. In the form of studies the feasibility of plans can be examined or the market can be analyzed, in further projects concepts can be elaborated. In development projects demonstrators and prototypes are created that can be evaluated in a living lab.
Using market studies and workshops for business model development, we support our partners in the direction of the innovation process. Advanced studies can, for example, analyze the technical feasibility of innovative product ideas or examine the advantages and disadvantages of alternative solution approaches and concepts and support the partner in the development of the right product with the optimal technology and flexibility for their business.
With the help of benefit analyses and the creation of specification sheets we support the customer in the detailed technical and functional specification of their new product. This way, innovative and customer-specific transponder systems in the form of demonstrators or prototypes can be developed within development projects that are getting close to the functionality and performance of the serial product. In the transfer into series production we support our customers and identify and mediate external partners for the series production.
Independent from the form of cooperation project we support our partners in financing their innovation by examining the possibilities of public funding or acquire further partners from our cooperation network for the creation of an effective consortium of a (supported) joint project; this can happen within national or international research and development programs.
Our cooperation models also contain the evaluation of new technologies and their potential for the optimization of their application. Our customers receive the results from commissioned studies in the form of an extensive report with our assessments. Our services include a complex electromagnetic field simulation for the precise adjustment to the individual transponder system and its requirements.
The Fraunhofer IMS cooperation models include the validation of the system with suitable test and measurement stations. We develop these systems according to your customer-specific requirements and transfer them to your premises, if necessary.
