The 9th Fraunhofer IMS Workshop CMOS IMAGING took place on MAY 7th – 8th, 2019.
The new compact LiDAR (light detection and ranging) camera Owl stands for fast and reliable distance measurements.
Backside illumination image sensors stand out due to their increased image quality and have become an indispensable part of consumer electronics and smartphones.
LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) not only enables autonomous vehicles to safely capture their environment, it also enables human and robot production to work hand-in-hand safely.
The new CMOS integrated SPAD (CSPAD) sensor for three dimensional imaging consists of 64x48 pixels and has been designed for Solid-state LiDAR applications.
